ACE’s three-year community project wraps up this June, come Celebrate, Connect, and Learn with ACE and the Aparima rural community. We have 2 sessions for the day; we’d love you to be at both or feel free to join us for one or the other.

Afternoon session

2.00pm – 3.30pm  |  Meet at the Crib Cafe, 135 Palmerston Street, Riverton

We will be looking and learning about the function and health of the estuary with locals and experts, including a coastal scientist.

This is a hands-on event, bringing together stream walk and sediment discussions from the last few years.

We will be heading down to the Aparima & Pourakino receiving environment, Jacobs river estuary. Bring your warm clothes, questions, and gummies! We’ll be outside exploring the estuary.
