Types of people in the group

The Otama catchment is a mix of arable, sheep, beef and dairy. There is interest in involving the Otama school community.

Hosted events/meetings

The group held their initial meeting in July 2022 with a potluck dinner and an introduction to understanding catchment groups with Kevin Hall from the wider Three Rivers group.

Future events

Otama are interested in holding a GHG ‘Know your number’ workshop with Beef & Lamb. Fencing off the stream by the Otama school and planning it out is also high on the list.

Every year the Otama catchment group plan to have a potluck dinner in July.
