Funding is now available to support wetland restoration and on-farm environmental projects in Southland.
Thanks to the Environment Southland Community Grant Agreement, Thriving Southland has secured funding to help landowners and community members enhance their local environment.
If you have a wetland or environmental project that could benefit the wider catchment, you may be eligible for funding support. Whether it’s restoring wetlands, planting native trees or fencing waterways, this fund is designed to help you make a difference.
How it works
Funding available: $200,000 in total. Applications are open until funding is fully allocated.
What’s covered: Riparian planting, wetland construction/restoration, sediment traps.
Easy application process: A simple and quick application form to get you started.
Your commitment: Successful applicants agree to share their journey through case studies, photos, or videos.
